Job Summary : Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing CRPUD's mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers. This position shares responsibility with other members of the executive team for establishing and encouraging a dynamic, high functioning, engaged work environment that fosters a safe and healthy work culture. Provide visible and confident leadership of the Information Technology Department while ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective utilization of personnel, equipment, and contractors. Set and enforce high standards for performance, professionalism, integrity, and business ethics. Lead, inform, empower, and motivate CRPUD personnel to meet and exceed identified goals and objectives. Direct all information technology activities and personnel in the development, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of information technology business assets and resources. Oversee application system analysis, programming, information service operations, telecommunications, personal computer resources, and the acquisition of hardware and software designed to improve operation efficiency and efficacy. Ensure information technology systems meet the reliability and functionality needs of internal departments, business continuity objectives, and strategic innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Information Technology Department, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective use of personnel, equipment, and contractors.
• Set and enforce high standards for performance, professionalism, integrity, and business ethics.
• Lead, inform, empower, and motivate CRPUD personnel to meet and exceed goals and objectives.
• Direct all IT activities : development, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT assets and resources.
• Oversee application system analysis, programming, information service operations, telecommunications, and PC resources.
• Oversee acquisition of hardware and software to improve operation efficiency and efficacy.
• Ensure IT systems meet reliability and functionality needs of internal departments, business continuity objectives, and strategic innovation initiatives.
