Job Overview
We are specifically looking to add someone to our sales team who has 5+ years of experience with selling commercial construction design services (design / build). Sales Consultants enjoy working the sales process including prospecting and relationship building, advising the customer on building design and layout, working with architects and designers, and coordinating with our in-house pre-construction and estimation teams for the final project agreement.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and relationship building with prospective clients.
Advising customers on building design and layout.
Cooperating with architects and designers.
Coordinating with in-house pre-construction and estimation teams to finalize project agreements.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a commercial construction project manager.
Sales experience in commercial construction services.
Previous hands-on experience in the trades (e.g. carpenter) is but not necessary.
Drive to seek out new business (hunter mentality).
Ability to foster a positive relationship with customers through a longer sales process that can take several months or more.
