  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026)\n

  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or CVICU nursing experience preferred\n
  • Travel nursing experience a plus\n
  • Ability to float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding areas\n
  • Strong clinical skills in STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair / replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n

    • \n\nCVICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU\n
  • Monitor and manage critically ill patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
  • Utilize Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR for patient management and documentation\n
  • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code situations\n
  • Float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding areas as needed\n
  • Adhere to hospital policies, including attendance and dress code\n
