Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a K-12 school setting to support speech and language interventions. This contract position offers approximately 37.5 hours per week, running from ASAP through early October. The role is based on-site in Murrieta, CA, and requires candidates to have solid hands-on experience specifically in school environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Support speech and language development for children in grades K-12
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as per school guidelines
  • Assist in progress monitoring and data collection
  • Communicate effectively with educators and parents regarding student progress
  • Adhere to all district policies and confidentiality standards

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
  • Proven experience working in a school setting; candidates with experience solely in pediatric clinics or hospitals will not be considered
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and student needs
  • Ability to work on-site; virtual candidates are not eligible
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
