What You Will Do
- Join Raytheon's Effector Power and Analog Design (EPAD) Team to design robust power systems with knowledge of power electronics.
- Develop power systems from concepts to integration, including telemetry, flight termination products, and servo electronics for mechanical motion, with target power ranges generally below 10 kW and voltages below 1000 V.
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry (non-isolated and isolated switch-mode converters, and linear converters) for board-mounted applications.
- Assist in circuit-card architecture and guide layout activities; support layer stackup definition and ECAD drafter guidance.
- Contribute as an individual contributor and participate in small team leadership and personal technical growth; clearly present work to program leadership.
Responsibilities
Define schedules for circuit-level tasks and drive to meet project timelines.Support design phases from requirements definition through initial integration testing.Collaborate with team to ensure robust power design and integration with analog / mixed-signal interfaces.Qualifications You Must Have
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM fieldDesign / analysis / test / simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost)Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar toolsAnalog electronics design experience (FETs / BJTs, op-amps, filters, terminations, and comparator circuits)12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with analog or digital power converter designECAD guidance for PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creationExperience communicating technical topics at small-team levelExperience with circuit simulators SIMPLIS, SABER, Mathcad; Mentor Graphics DxDesigner or HyperLynxWhat We Offer

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.
