About the Role
This role provides essential support to the client team by managing policy processing and documentation from start to finish. It involves producing and distributing policies, coordinating surplus lines requirements, maintaining accurate records in internal systems, and ensuring all applications are properly assigned and tracked. By handling these critical operational tasks, the position helps deliver a seamless client experience.
The Day-to-Day
Enter and process applications for quotes on carrier websites for various types of policies.Communicate with underwriters, providing timely updates and ensuring accurate documentation of quotes.Prepare invoices and issue Professional Liability policies in accordance with company standards.Distribute finalized policies and related documentation to clients and brokers via email in a professional and timely manner.Maintain and update renewal lists, ensuring accuracy and proactive follow-up for upcoming expirations.Assist with policy changes, endorsements, and renewal processing to support client needs.Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies, answer policy questions, and ensure smooth workflow.Support compliance by adhering to industry regulations, company procedures, and data accuracy requirements.Contribute to maintaining positive client and broker relationships through clear communication.Provide administrative support as needed, including recordkeeping, database updates, and reporting.Requirements :
Prior experience in Property and Casualty insurance (preferred).Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively.Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with others in a timely manner.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Comfortable delivering presentations via PowerPoint in online and in-person settings.Willingness to travel, approximately four times per year, to attend association conventions.AMBA is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
