Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25
Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
Full-Time Position : 36 hours per week
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift
Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit caring for a diverse and complex patient population, including :Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases .Your Role and Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.Engage with patients and their families to enhance their experience and understanding.Skills and Qualifications :
Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Physical Fitness and Working Conditions :
Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and pushing / pulling equipment.May be exposed to hazardous materials and biological substances, requiring protective equipment.Your Professional Growth :
