Job Summary
This position is responsible for planning, filming, and editing engaging video / digital content that highlights TCC's programs, people, and impact. This position works as part of the Marketing & Communications team to create compelling stories that support student recruitment, community engagement, fundraising and brand awareness.
Essential Duties
Plan, film, and edit video content for use across digital platforms, social media, events, and advertising.
Collaborate with marketing team members to develop creative concepts and scripts that align with college branding and strategic goals.
Capture a wide range of video and photography footage including student stories, events, promotional campaigns, and campus life.
Ensure video content is optimized for multiple platforms, including web, social media, and broadcast.
Maintain video and audio equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
Manage video archives and maintain an organized system for footage and completed projects.
Stay current on video, editing, and social media trends to recommend new approaches for storytelling.
Manage and grow the college's YouTube channel, including uploading, optimizing, and organizing video content for accessibility, SEO, and audience engagement.
Ensure all content adheres to accessibility standards and college brand guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree bachelor's degree in film, video, production, communications or related field. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
3 years experience in producing, filming and editing video content and knowledge of audio recording, video editing software, lighting and video production best practices.
