Position Overview

We're looking for a strategic, market-savvy Product Manager to lead our Healthcare vertical, driving a best-in-class mobile experience specifically designed to empower and improve the workflow of frontline healthcare workers.

This role is ideal for someone who loves blending market insight with product strategy. You'll represent the voice of the healthcare customer internally-bringing a deep understanding of the unique needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements of healthcare systems. You'll also shape how we show up in the market, helping craft the value stories and go-to-market strategies that position Firstup as the essential communication platform for healthcare organizations.

This is an outbound-focused Product Management role -you'll influence the roadmap through insight and collaboration with the wider Product Management team. Success will come from your ability to translate customer and market understanding into product direction, positioning, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the Healthcare vertical , defining how Firstup delivers unique value across healthcare systems.
  • Serve as the voice of the healthcare worker , developing a deep understanding of deskless, shift-based workforces and the operational realities of hospitals, clinics, and care teams.
  • Champion the mobile experience -ensuring the Firstup platform empowers frontline and clinical employees to stay connected, informed, and engaged wherever they are.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to shape go-to-market strategies, messaging, and enablement for healthcare audiences.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to influence roadmap priorities and advocate for features that support healthcare-specific workflows and compliance requirements.
  • Gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights to inform positioning, pricing, and product direction.
  • Define and track success metrics for the Healthcare vertical-driving adoption, retention, and expansion within key accounts.
  • Enable internal teams with deep industry knowledge, customer stories, and product expertise to strengthen our market presence and sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or a hybrid PMM / PM role within SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Experience serving healthcare customers or adjacent industries where compliance, security, and workforce communication are paramount.
  • Proven ability to translate complex customer needs and market trends into actionable strategies and product narratives .
  • A strong grasp of mobile-first user experiences and the unique needs of deskless and shift-based workers .
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PHI) is a plus.

  • Firstup expects the base salary for this role to be between $100,000-$150,000. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and / or experience.
