Job Title : Industrial / Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Industrial / Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our packaging lines, ensuring high levels of efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist in communicating short-range and medium-range maintenance plans for packaging lines.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Team Resource Manager to lead maintenance repair on assigned lines.
• Monitor equipment uptime and maintenance response time, initiating improvement plans when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities on production lines.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, including safety, quality, and sanitation.
• Communicate, interact, and follow up with co-workers to maintain positive employee partnerships.
• Determine root cause of equipment failure and implement improvement plans.
• Determine the best way to accomplish maintenance tasks while minimizing disruption to production.
• Operate and changeover packaging line equipment as needed.
• Provide solutions to reduce changeover time and standardize / center line packaging line equipment.
• Provide electrical expertise to packaging operations and other departments.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maximize run time.
• Read and program electrical controls such as PLC, HMI, and Servo.
• Order electrical / electronic parts and equipment for all departments.
• Provide packaging technical support, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeovers, and repairs.
• Responsible for assigned department.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00 / yr.
