Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience :
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program; orSix months of on-the-job experience; orHigh school diploma with proven competence in dental assistant responsibilities.Current dental assistant license may be required in certain states.Proficient in managing dental records and documentation.Basic computer skills are necessary.Compliance with established protocols and standards.Familiarity with dental instruments and terminology.Alignment with our shared vision and values.Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities :
Master and follow proper sterilization, biohazard, and infection control procedures according to protocol.Possess thorough knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and appropriate tray setups.Perform all chairside procedures with efficiency.Facilitate patient flow effectively through teamwork and communication skills.Conduct necessary lab procedures as required.Maintain a positive rapport with both staff members and patients at all times.Utilize supplies and equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.Contribute to the office in achieving defined goals.Other duties as assigned.
