Job Title : Corporate Counsel

Location : Denver, Co (Hybrid- 3 days / week in office)

Salary : $120,000- $150,000 + Bonus potential

About Company / Opportunity : We are a privately held real estate investment and property management company that needs a hybrid Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. If you have 3+ years of legal experience with real estate and property management, than this could be the perfect position for you!

As Corporate Counsel, you will :

Assist the General Counsel on legal matters related to the company’s corporate and real estate transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions.

Manage potential risks, liabilities, and financial exposures to safeguard the company's interests.

Oversee all litigation against the company and coordinate with external legal teams and insurance providers.

Supervise the handling and resolution of insurance claims, and manage investigations and assessments related to coverage.

Assist with tenant complaints and disputes and oversee the eviction process.

Negotiate, draft, revise and manage complex commercial agreements.

Manage budgetary responsibilities and contribute to strategic planning in collaboration with internal teams.

Perform other duties as assigned, including responding to inquiries on various legal matters such as taxes, employment, contracts, insurance, risk management, licensing, organizational policies and corporate governance.

Must-Have Skills :

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and license to practice law in Colorado

3+ years of experience in corporate or real estate law

Strong understanding of real estate and financial transactions

Nice to Have Skills :

Experience with Affordable Housing, including fair housing laws and HUD regulations
