The Zone Maintenance Mechanic performs inspection, maintenance and repair work on building systems and components. This work is performed under general supervision using the tools and techniques of various technologies, including electrical, carpentry, mechanical and plumbing.

Location : Johns Hopkins Hospital, 600 N Wolfe St, Baltimore, MD 21287

Hours : Full time (40 hours), Evening Shift, Weekend work required

Requirements / Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years related work experience in a multi-complex maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, carpentry, mechanical and plumbing techniques, procedures and materials.
• Knowledge of building elements and codes.
• Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards

Salary Range : Minimum 24.24 / hour - Maximum 28.13 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
