We are in search of a Locum Psychiatrist for Eastern Iowa, near the Illinois border. The ideal Candidate will be Board-Certified Psychiatry, comfortable with inpatient psychiatry, and available from January - early July.

Shifts : 7-on / 7-off : Monday-Sunday

Job Description :

• Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults NOT OPEN TO TELEHEALTH
• Will supervise APP
• Will take Call
• Average Number of Patients Per Day : 5-12
• Total Number of Beds : 18 adults, 5 adolescents
• How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group : 1 part-time inpatient right now
• How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group : 2
• How Many Psychologists : Zero, inpatient
• Documentation System / EMR : Cerner
• Trauma Level / Designation III
• Referral / Transfer Protocol : University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car
• Safety / Security Measures in Place : security on each campus
• Not accepting visa candidates
