Key Responsibilities :
- Execute and oversee all testing and therapeutics within the Cath lab, encompassing cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic / interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (e.g., LAAC, TAVR).
- Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff, ensuring an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care. Utilize the appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.
- Assist patients through all aspects of procedures, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedures, patient monitoring, hemostasis post-catheter / sheath removal, and facilitate the return to the patient's room. Manage emergent cases.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records. Complete all paperwork associated with procedures and prepare tests for physician interpretation.
- Demonstrate flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to function well under stressful situations.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and provide orientation as needed.
Qualifications :
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).Additional Requirements :
Shift times : 7a - 7 : 30p (12 hr shifts).Must have experience - ARRT / RCIS cert preferred.Open to reviewing CVOR / CST with strong Vascular / IR exp.Experience in Scrubbing, Monitoring, and Circulating required.4 years of Cath / IR experience strongly preferred.No mapping experience needed (performed by a third-party company).Unit Beds / Rooms : 3 rooms, average 4-6 procedures per day.Pay Range : $38.48 - $50.00 per hour
