Electrical Engineer - Power & Lighting Design

Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for bringing projects to life? Selectek has a contract-to-hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH for an Electrical Engineer to join an award-winning architectural design firm.

In this role, you'll be the technical expert for electrical power and lighting systems. You'll play a key role in all stages of a project, from planning and design to construction support. You'll work closely with the project manager and other engineers to ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.

What you'll do :

Design electrical power and lighting systems for commercial projects.

Review project details and participate in kick-off meetings.

Lead and mentor engineering interns, providing training, and reviewing their work.

Manage project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying and communicating potential issues.

Collaborate with the project manager to track progress and ensure client satisfaction.

Assist with construction management by reviewing shop drawings.

Stay up to date on building codes, standards, and industry trends.

Take on additional tasks assigned by the project manager.

We're looking for someone with :

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

3+ years of experience in power and lighting design for commercial projects

Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
