Position Overview
We are seeking experienced structural aircraft mechanics to support depot-level modifications and repairs on the VC-25B Program. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of heavy structures experience on aircraft platforms and be able to obtain customer access approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation on critical structural areas including doublers, triplers, seat tracks, stringers, and planks
- Conduct structural modifications and repairs using engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications
- Execute sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation tasks per standard repair procedures
- Operate tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level structural work
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft components including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical systems
- Use aircraft-specific tools such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears
- Access aircraft data systems to initiate parts requests and document discrepancies
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and lead teams on complex tasks
- Operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and powered elevating equipment
- Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits
- Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with potential for scheduled and unscheduled overtime

Minimum 4 years of aircraft heavy structures experienceProficient in shop math, schematics, specifications, and assembly drawingsStrong computer skills for aircraft systems and documentationMust pass a comprehensive background check including financial, employment, and criminal historyMust be eligible for customer access approvalPreferred Qualifications
