Job description

Old Orchard Nursing and Respiratory Center is seeking a full-time Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is dependable, engaged, and committed to high-quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support unit nursing staff with a strong floor presence
  • Oversee daily unit operations to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and participate in care planning and IDT meetings
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and assignment oversight
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow-through on orders
  • Communicate promptly with providers, residents, and families

    • Qualifications :

  • Valid Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing
  • Current BLS certification
  • Prior SNF leadership or charge nurse experience required
  • Strong assessment, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to lead by example, hold staff accountable, and maintain professionalism
