StaffMD has a large Mental Health center in Northeast Florida seeking a Psychiatrist to join their team. This position will provide services to their Adult Inpatient program and / or to their Outpatient comprehensive services center. Practice details are as follows :

BC / BE in Psychiatry

FL license or license eligible

Current DEA certification

Provide diagnosis, medication, therapies, interventions and other approved treatment modalities for assigned caseload

Assess patients in psychiatric crisis

Ensure each patient has problem-oriented treatment plan with appropriate goals and objectives

Participate in treatment team meetings

Consult for other staff members providing clinical services

Outpatient, 1 : 4 on call Inpatient

Inpatient program :

Psychiatric crisis stabilization units for Adult patients

Many patients admitted involuntarily via the Florida Mental Health Act (Baker Act)

Average inpatient length of stay is 4-5 days

Outpatient services :

Psychiatric evaluations

Medication management

Counseling services

Employed position

Base salary of $230,000, Negotiable DOE
