Position Highlights :
- Competitive pay : $24.42-$35.95 / hour based on experience
- Additional compensation for bilingual skills
What You'll Do :
Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring accuracy of vital signs, treatments, and medications while reviewing immunization records.Prepare for patient visits by assessing files, coordinating with Providers for scheduling, and ensuring continuity of care.Prepare exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, provide education and coaching, and assist physicians during exams.Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medications, and handle assigned clinical responsibilities.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent military training, with at least 720 training hours including a 160-hour externship.A minimum of one year’s experience as a CMA is preferred.Current CPR certification.National certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT must be obtained within 90 days of hire.Bilingual candidates (English / Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese) are encouraged to apply and will receive a bilingual differential with a level 10 score on the language test.Strong medical knowledge to understand relevant theories and technical aspects of medicine.Exceptional interpersonal skills to connect with diverse patients.Excellent ability to multitask and manage varied workloads.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and EMR systems such as Epic.Our Mission Statement :
