What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location, responding appropriately to emergency situations when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any irregularities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as directed.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with security-related needs and questions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all established Allied Universal and client protocols for access control and visitor management at the logistics and distribution site.
  • Participate in site-specific training and ongoing security-related education to stay current with procedures and best practices.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
