Job Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This role is based in the Adult Emergency Department with float requirements to the Pediatric ED and other cross-campus AED units as needed. Ideal candidates will have both adult and pediatric ED experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.

Assignment Details : Duration : 13 weeks

Schedule : Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend & some holidays

Float Requirement : Peds ED and cross-campus AED as needed

Qualifications :

Active New York RN license – Required

BLS Certification – Required

ACLS & PALS Certification – Preferred

Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center

Adult & Pediatric ED experience – Required

EPIC EMR experience – Preferred

Strong communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills

Duties & Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients

Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization in critical situations

Administer medications, perform interventions, and monitor patient progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced trauma environment

Float as assigned to Pediatric ED and cross-campus emergency departments

Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care with minimal orientation
