Financial Analyst, FP&A

Asana is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. The FP&A teams goal is to help Asana optimize investments for long term growth through thoughtful analysis and deep collaboration with key leaders across the organization.

You will be a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders, delivering insights and providing recommendations for supporting sustainable and efficient growth globally. You will help drive improvements to forecast accuracy, enhance corporate reporting, establish and improve finance processes, and help scale our systems. The ideal candidate will be curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What youll achieve :

• Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through ROI-focused financial modeling and analysis for our internal teams
• Evolve and implement processes and tools necessary to help scale our FP&A practices; support company-wide planning and forecasting processes in a manner that is both efficient and effective
• Own and develop financial forecasts that accurately predict business performance; highlight key variances, opportunities, and issues to senior management
• Establish and maintain relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (including executives, team leads, and program leads), and serve as a key point of contact for all things finance
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $133,000 - $146,500 The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
