You contribute to the service delivery to our teams ensuring payroll is consistent and accurate, working as part of a team and closely with colleagues throughout Head Office, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will assist with administrative tasks and reporting.
This role is hybrid with at least three days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with TimeGate Employee Portal (Full Training Provided) including rostering administration, setting up new employees and answering queries.
- Managing employees and payroll in Sage including managing leave.
- Managing monthly tax saver scheme for employees
- Processing of Bike to Work payments
- Knowledge of benefits and deductions.
- Liaising with employees regarding queries and ensuring timely turnaround.
- Answering and transferring calls
- Processing mail and organising couriers.
- Management of Uniform Process including stock takes, ordering and liaising with HR to check requirements
- Management of office stationery.
- Deliver reports on weekly and monthly basis as well as ad hoc requests
- Any other tasks as required in the office
We're looking for people who have
Minimum 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in Ireland.IPASS qualification or similar payroll certification (desirable).Strong knowledge of Irish tax and employment legislation.Experience with payroll software (e.g. Sage payroll professional, TimeGate etc.).Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Excellent knowledge in Excel and CSVStrong numerical and analytical ability.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office suite.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrate a customer service approach to handling employee queries and good problem solving skills.Desirable
Experience with multi-jurisdictional payrolls (UK or EU) is a plus.Familiarity with Employee Portals.Previous experience working in a high-volume environment.Administration experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of Accounts and Payroll DepartmentsBuilding relationships at all levels of businessGreat organisational skillsAbility to work as part of teamAnd that's not all
