DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their personal life goals by providing a variety of programs and activities within the Therapeutic Activities Services Department at the Selinsgrove Center. Recreational and vocational duties will entail assisting individuals with various levels of mobility, communication, and skill sets. You will provide assistance, support, and oversight for our residents with center wide activities and programming, during off-grounds trips, and with all employment areas including integrated community employment. Within this role, you will also be expected to perform general housekeeping functions by completing basic cleaning tasks, maintaining necessary supplies, ensuring for the care and maintenance of equipment, and maintaining safe and sanitary conditions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 1 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.

This position has rotating days off and includes weekends and holidays.
