Job descriptionSmyrna, TN : $28.50 / hr + OT after 40 hours Hours : 55+ hours per week Per Diem : $30 per night (1–2 nights per week) Paid Training Provided Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed by customer) Dispatch between 12 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM Expect 11+ hour days Freight Type : Touch freight (Clothing & Home Goods) Equipment : 53' Dry Van Duties : Move boxes (up to 50 lbs) from trailer to conveyor belt at store locations Boxes are stacked up to 6 high — step stool provided Equipment Provided : Hand Truck and Step Stool Ryder provides all necessary equipment and training Valid Class A CDL Experience : Driving Record : FMCSA Clearinghouse : Clean D&A record required Criminal Background : Case-by-case consideration Runs through New Year's (Peak Season) Temp-to-Hire & Surge roles available Ryder may hire qualified drivers after 90 days or equivalent hours
