Location : Faribault & Owatonna, Minnesota (20 minutes apart)

Assignment Overview

A large regional health system in southern Minnesota is seeking experienced CRNAs for a float pool opportunity covering both Faribault and Owatonna facilities. This role requires a strong provider with independent practice experience, particularly in OB anesthesia and VBAC / TOLAC management.

Position Details

Facilities : Faribault (unsupervised) & Owatonna (supervised)

Floating Requirement : Yes - must be willing to travel between both sites (20 minutes apart)

Schedule :

Monday-Thursday : 8-hour elective shifts

Friday : Emergent cases only (e.g., C-sections)

Call Coverage : PM Call : 3 : 30p-7a

Weekend Call : 7a-7a (Friday through Sunday covered by weekend call rotation)

Call Type : Beeper (30-minute response time)

Sleep rooms available onsite for on-call staff

Weekend and PM call required and rotated among providers

Full-time availability strongly preferred

Clinical Details

Practice Models :

Owatonna : Supervised (1 MD on-site, not on call)

Faribault : Unsupervised - must be confident practicing independently

Case Types : General and OB (high OB volume)

Special Procedures :

VBAC / TOLAC (Required)

TAP blocks, epidurals, spinals, and peripheral nerve blocks

PEDs, ENT

No cardiac surgeries at either site

In Owatonna, occasional cardioversions / TEEs (performed by cardiologist, not CRNA)

Patient Population : Adults and Pediatrics

Support Staff : Faribault : CRNA-led

Owatonna : CRNA + MD supervision

Response Time : 30 minutes (sleep rooms provided)

Requirements

Active Minnesota License - Required

ACLS, BLS - Required

Minimum 1 Year Experience - Required

Strong OB & VBAC / TOLAC Experience - Required

Independent Practice Competency - Required
