JOB SUMMARY
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and is licensed to provide safe patient care as well as highly skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Physician and / or Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides a higher level of evidenced-based practice as per the Nurse Practice Act and other governing bodies and demonstrates strong leadership and efficient skills in caring for patients with chronic diseases; requires consultation with advanced practice clinicians and benefits from feedback; reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

9. Adaptability- the individual must be able to adapt to ever-changing conditions.
10. Computer Literate- the individual must have sufficient knowledge and skill to be able to use computers; familiar with the operation of computers.
11. Strong Work Ethic- the individual must be able to uphold the values and goals of Capital Area Health Network by performing the job to the best of his / her ability.
