Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative support, leading campus programming and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge. This is a grant funded position. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and assess campus programs that promote student belonging

  • Advise student groups

  • Manage the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge

  • Support supervision of AmeriCorp Vista Team
  • 5 -

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate student employees
  • 6 -

  • Assist with paperwork and documentation for budget fiscal management of department
  • 7 -

  • Serve as office liaison for campus committees

  • Performs related duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications

    Educational Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
  • Other Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a current valid driver license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
  • Required Experience

  • More than one year experience in event planning
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
  • Preferred Experience

  • More than one year working in higher education or K12 environment
  • Proposed Salary

    $44,050 per year

  • Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
  • Skill in event planning.
