Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Director with expertise in managing clinical operations, developing treatment plans, and overseeing case management services. The ideal candidate will have experience with CARF accreditation and a deep understanding of clinical best practices and regulatory standards. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, developing and implementing clinical programs, and leading a team of case managers and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership and Program Development
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical programs and services aligned with CARF standards and best practices.
- Oversee the creation and execution of individualized treatment plans to meet client needs.
- Ensure clinical services are evidence-based and client-centered.
- Establish and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and compliance.
- Monitor program outcomes and adjust strategies to improve client care and operational efficiency.
Team Management and Supervision
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff, including case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.Oversee hiring, training, and professional development of clinical staff.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.Compliance and Accreditation
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.Lead the preparation and execution of CARF accreditation processes and maintain ongoing compliance.Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.Implement corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives as needed.Client Care and Case Management
Oversee the development and implementation of client treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and goals.Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Handle escalated client issues and resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.Strategic Planning and Reporting
Develop and manage the clinical department budget.Provide regular reports to senior leadership on clinical outcomes, staff performance, and program effectiveness.Identify opportunities for service expansion and program improvement.Participate in strategic planning initiatives to align clinical services with organizational goals.Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field.Licensed Clinical Professional (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.CARF accreditation experience is required.Strong knowledge of clinical standards, treatment planning, and case management.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.Preferred Skills
Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or integrated care settings.Familiarity with Medicaid(SoonerCare), Medicare, and private insurance requirements.Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.Compensation and Benefits
