Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
- Manage, support, and grow relationships with distribution and channel partners.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations as required.
- Provide training and joint sales support to channel partners to strengthen market presence.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and forecasts within CRM tools.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide market feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments including product management, engineering, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and technical support.
- Travel within the assigned territory as required (approximately 50%).
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in flow meters, instrumentation, process control equipment, or similar industrial products.Demonstrated success in both direct and channel sales environments.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications and applications.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications :
Residence in Texas preferred; must reside within the assigned territory.3+ years as a successful Outside sales Territory Manager with a demonstrated level of technical competence.Traits :
