Principal Specialist Material Program Manager (MPM)
Collins Aerospace is seeking a talented and driven Principal Specialist Material Program Manager (MPM) to join our Mission Systems team in either Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA. In this critical role, you will lead the supplier management processdeveloping and executing strategies to mitigate risk, drive supplier performance, and optimize material flow across the program lifecycle. You'll act as a key liaison between customers, program management, and suppliers, ensuring all material contract objectives (technical, cost, and schedule) are met with excellence. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier performance, resolving supply chain issues, and ensuring full compliance with FAR / DFARS, ITAR, offset requirements, public law, quality standards, and warranty obligations. You will also evaluate and refine the Make Buy / Make Where (MB / MW) strategy to improve operational efficiency while developing comprehensive material program strategies and overseeing the financial management of material requirements. Success in this role requires strong leadership, deep expertise in procurement, contracts, production control, and logistics, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward operational and strategic goals.
