Overview

The Computer Programmer II plays an essential role in sustaining and enhancing software applications that support these highly technical engineering and logistics environments. This position requires strong programming and debugging skills comfort working with database back ends and experience developing or maintaining web-based applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a mission-focused team-oriented environment and meets Department of Defense cybersecurity certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enhance and maintain software applications that support engineering logistics and configuration management functions.
• Debug troubleshoot and resolve software errors within existing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers analysts and IT personnel to refine user requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
• Integrate databases and optimize back-end functionality to support application performance and data integrity.
• Support web-based application development testing and lifecycle maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance standards.
