Queen’s Price Chopper – Seafood / Service Meat Clerk Position
Full-Time or Part-Time
The primary purpose of the Seafood / Meat Service clerk is to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with seafood / meat selections including cutting, cleaning and preparing items to customers specifications. A Seafood / Meat Clerk provides a high level of prompt and friendly customer service, assists customers with questions and special orders, ad needs, while maintaining a positive, customer focused work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Use selling skills and merchandising programs to enhance customer interaction and achieve maximum sales.
- Provides polite friendly greetings and interacts with all customers as they approach the department.
- Prepares knife -ready products for sale (slice, trim, wrap, weigh and price) according to our standards.
- Assists in product receiving, inventory and storage.
- Stocks and rotates frozen items, prepared meats and fresh meat / seafood in sales area.
- Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat / seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers and sales floor.
- Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale. Ensures all products are in date.
- Communicates customers requests / concerns to management.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of age.High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.Prior work experience preferred but not required.Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.Queen’s Price Chopper Offers :
