We are seeking a full-time Structural Steel Inspector in the Columbus, OH area. The Inspector will perform on-site observations of steel connections, bolting, and more on various structural steel construction projects. Responsible for reporting and tracking any discrepancies through the completion of the project, and communicating with construction managers and construction crews to observe the quality of the steel erection. We are looking for an experienced Inspector who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities :

• Perform on-site observations of steel construction projects.
• Maintain consistent communication with construction managers and construction crew to observe the quality of the steel erection.
• Report and track any discrepancies through the completion of the project.
• Exercise authority to reject and resolve conflict within the scope of authority.
• Adhere to strict safety standards.

This is a contract position based out of Westerville, OH. Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
