Senior Database Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design optimal Postgres data models and optimize data structures for performance

Analyze database query load, manage upgrades, and troubleshoot production incidents

Implement data migrations and security tooling while collaborating with development teams

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience operating PostgreSQL in production environments

3+ years of experience collaborating with development teams in application development or infrastructure as code

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning

Experience with database migrations, schema evolution, and zero-downtime deployment strategies

Proficiency in database monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting
