SpaceX's Special Programs team is looking for a dedicated and talented individual to develop, maintain, and help lead the execution of our highly dynamic mission and engineering development programs. This role requires proactive coordination of programmatic milestones, non-recurring engineering development, certification activities, manufacturing hardware delivery, launch pad & payload preparation, and on-orbit & recovery operations.

As the team's Master Scheduler, you will be at the nexus of all of these activities and will work to construct, maintain, and communicate multiple resource-aware projects in parallel. You'll be empowered to identify and solve gaps in our engineering plans, implement improvements, and drive consistency across our proposals and active programs.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of project schedules for complex government programs
• Coordinate, maintain, communicate, and present the critical path schedules
• Alert engineering and programmatic leadership to potential issues, develop / coordinate a set of solutions, and then drive the team to positive outcomes
• Quickly understand existing and future projects, assemblies, sequences, and constraints in order to actively de-conflict issues with several teams across multiple sites
• Learn our engineering, production, launch site, and on-orbit operations in enough depth that you are able to critically evaluate them and drive process improvements
• Work with SpaceX managers, supervisors and leads to ensure that your project plans reflect reality and key deliverables will be completed on time
• Devise, maintain, and improve scheduling tools and processes that identify, analyze, and brief potential constraints on a weekly and daily basis
• Facilitate and drive weekly schedule reviews with responsible engineers, ensuring up to date and accurate plans

Compensation and Benefits :

Pay Range : Master Scheduler : $110,000.00-$145,000.00 / per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.
