We are seeking a Store Clerk to become an integral part of our marina team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue!

SUMMARY :

Performs all of the duties involved in the operation and upkeep of the retail store and fuel sales department, including locating, purchasing, pricing, sales, and returns of store merchandise for retail customers and other departments within the marina.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Although not a necessary requirement, retail sales experience and marine related experience are advantageous. Personnel must be able to operate basic office equipment such as calculators etc., and must possess sufficient skill to enable learning proficient operation of a computer terminal.
• Store personnel must possess communications skills and basic math skills. Since the position requires direct contact with customers on a regular basis, an outgoing pleasant personality is a must, along with stability and the ability to cope with adverse customers or conditions.
• Knowledge of the local area is advantageous, but not mandatory.

FUEL DISPENSING :

The following is a list of procedures and guidelines regarding the dispensing of fuel. Failure to follow these will result in dismissal.  This is outside and requires some physical handling of fuel hoses.
