Summary Of Position
The InterOperability lab is a commercially funded independent testing facility for networking and data communications devices and software. The Associate Technical Service Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of testing services and / or hardware / software testing tools used by our approximately 200 global business partners . The position will serve as a technical manager and lead developer within the Embedded and Baseband teams. The technical manager will support the Embedded and Baseband conformance teams including 1588 and TSN related areas. The lead development will focus on ongoing BitPhyer and Violett software needs as used by the Embedded and Baseband team for conformance testing focusing on FPGA HDL and / or software.
Other Minimum Qualifications
Basic knowledge of TCP / IP networking. Basic experience creating technical documents Basic knowledge of networking device configuration (home router etc) scripting concepts and the desire to train college students for future roles in the industry. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Ability to travel. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree and two years of experience in technology appropriate to project such as IPV6 high-speed ethernet and mobile and / or other technology as defined by the IOL . Basic troubleshooting experience; ability to respond quickly and isolate basic issues with networking devices Basic demonstrated understanding of data communications; communication between computer systems or devices and testing practices and methodologies Agile Team Experience Project management experience. Business Development and Marketing experience Customer service client relationship management experience. Knowledge of Atlassian products
