Oculoplastic / Orbital Surgeon (Open Rank Faculty)

The Department of Ophthalmology at UNC–Chapel Hill is seeking a full‑time open‑rank oculoplastic / orbital surgeon. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Completed a 12‑24 month post‑residency fellowship training in oculoplastic / orbital surgery.
• Graduated from an approved ophthalmic residency training program and satisfactory completion of a fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina required.
• Excellent training in surgery of the orbit.
• Excellent clinical & surgical skills, ophthalmic ultrasound experience.
• Strong commitment to teaching and ongoing interest in clinical and / or basic science research.

Position Details

NOTE : FTE is negotiable between 0.5 – 1.0 FTE. Position will also perform work occasionally at the Fayetteville VA.
