Must-Have :

Experience in Neuro (spines / crani), ENT (flaps), Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases preferred.

First-timers accepted.

Description :

The position is for an OR Certified Surgical Technologist.

Shifts will consist of three 12-hour days from 06 : 30 AM to 07 : 00 PM.

There will be a holiday rotation.

Weekend requirements include up to one working weekend shift every four weeks.

On-call requirements include up to four call shifts every four weeks.

Floating within the scope to meet facility needs may be required.

Common cases include orthopedic (total joints, spine, trauma), neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), robotics, transplants / procurements, trauma / burns, GU / GYN.

The operating room is a busy and dynamic environment.

The surgical team consists of a majority of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists.

Nursing team members are trained in both scrubbing and circulating surgical procedures.

This role supports the full variety of cases in the operating room.

This facility is a level-one academic trauma center with a wide range of surgical specialties.
