The successful candidate :

• This is a PRN role. As needed during daytime M-F. Shifts will be 10-12 hours. M ust be able to help with call schedule weeknights and / or weekends.

This individual must be able to operate all Magnetic Resonance (MR)-related equipment (i.e. scanner, coils / arrays, power injector, monitoring equipment, etc.) in a safe and proficient manner. They must abide by and enforce all compliance requirements and policies and perform these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values. This position requires initiative, the ability to make independent judgments and a positive attitude. The candidate must be able to produce high quality images with a minimum of repeats. Must be able to handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams on a daily basis. Must be able to communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department (i.e. clerical duties, inventory, stocking, light housekeeping duties, etc.).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education : High School Graduate or equivalent

Licensure : Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in MRI and / or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)

Special Skills : Basic Life Support (CPR)
