Patient Care Technician, Tele / Oncology 3rd Floor, Full Time, Day Shift, Job ID 1633817

Position Summary :

Under the supervision, and / or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.

Position Qualification :

• High School graduate or equivalent work experience or
• Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting OR
• EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or
• Foreign Nurse / Physician with appropriate documentation
• Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School
• Requires a through knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.

Licenses / Certifications :

Must clear background and drug test required.
