About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Product Development and Technical Design to lead the end-to-end process of creating and executing all products. This pivotal role is responsible for translating the creative vision into production-ready reality, ensuring that every garment meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, quality, and performance, while also aligning with business goals for cost and efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee the full product lifecycle for multiple high-profile clients and product categories, leading a cross-functional team and maintaining operational excellence across a global supply chain. Key accountabilities include managing the development calendar, directing sampling, fittings, and approvals, and driving innovation to optimize processes and increase speed-to-market.

Applicants must have deep expertise in garment construction, fit, and production for both tailored and technical apparel, as well as a proven ability to manage high-volume, global production with multiple overseas partners. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and can balance creative excellence with operational precision. The Head of Product Development and Technical Design will also be responsible for developing and managing budgets, cost targets, and margin goals, and must be a skilled communicator who can champion cross-functional collaboration and mentor staff to foster a culture of ownership, inclusion, and curiosity.
