As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff. Your role will involve monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents, all while providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a professional presence and help to deter potential security-related issues. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.90 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PMSun08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and any unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with appropriate personnel and / or first responders.
  • Support a welcoming environment by greeting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior through attentive presence and adherence to site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
