Pieper Veterinary is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician that is passionate about Primary Care and anesthesia to join our team at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center located in Middletown CT . About You :

We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our preferred candidate is someone who feels the same.  The ideal candidate is confident in their technical skills and abilities including but not limited to all aspects of general practice, including anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring, venipuncture, dental cleanings, client education, drug calculations and protocols, and surgery.  Other responsibilities include effective communication with both team members and clients, as well as confidently educating pet owners about their pets’ care and procedures. Experience with CPR, EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus, but not required. We highly value collaboration from all staff members, so please speak up, as your input is not only valued but can make a difference.

Compensation : $19.50.-$26.00 an hour depending on experience.

Anticipated schedule :

This is a full-time position :

4-5 days a week

Weekends and some holidays are required.
