Position Details:
• Patient Population: Adult
• Setting: Operating Room, Clinic
• Responsibilities: Assist with thoracic surgeries in the operating room and conduct pre-operative testing.
• Required Procedures: Thoracic surgery assistance
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: Collaborative team with support staff
• Days Per Month: 4 days per week
• On-Call/Weekends: No weekend or on-call requirements
• Reason for Coverage: PA out on maternity leave
• Practice Setting: Operating room, clinic
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour days
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: Varies
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level/Designation: 2
• APP Working Autonomously: Yes
• Training or Experience Required: Thoracic PA experience in the operating room and pre-op testing (no new grads)

Submission Requirements:
• Board Certified PA (NCCPA) REQUIRED
• Active MI License REQUIRED
• Thoracic OR Experience REQUIRED
• Clean Background REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS REQUIRED
