Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth patient evaluations, featuring thorough physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab results.
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide essential intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety and positioning, and passing instruments during surgical procedures.
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, performing wound care, facilitating discharge plans, and educating patients.

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred.

Certifications Needed

• A current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
