1ST CHOICE URGENT CARE in Bakersfield, California is recruiting 2 full-time Radiology Technicians.

1ST CHOICE URGENT CARE is a fast-growing practice, one of the leading providers of quality, caring and convenient outpatient urgent care, and an equal opportunity employer.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

Operating radiology equipment and performing x-ray exams in urgent care settings
Preparing patients for exams
Positioning patients and ensuring safety during exams
Answering patients’ questions
Recording patient information and updating patient records before and after exams
Maintaining radiology equipment, performing routine inspections of equipment, and reporting any equipment failures
Monitoring inventory

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Currently possess and maintain the license for radiology technician in California
Current BLS license
Energetic and customer service oriented
Excellent clinical and communication skills, coordinate with medical staff to ensure high-quality healthcare and client services
Comply with federal, state, and company regulations and policies regarding ethical, legal, and professional issues
Maintain HIPPA compliance and patient confidentiality
Currently reside at or is willing to relocate to Bakersfield, California.
