A company is looking for a Coder 1 / HCC Risk Adjustment.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records for accurate diagnosis code abstraction for various risk adjustments
Code following ICD-10-CM guidelines and client-specific coding guidelines
Communicate with management regarding workload and production expectations
Required Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma
Nationally certified coder in good standing through AAPC or AHIMA
1-2 years' experience in medical risk adjustment / HCC coding
Experience in HCC record abstraction and coding requirements
Intermediate computer skills for coding processes
